So far so good

I was not sure how a road trip with 2 kids would work out. Definitely harder but so far well worth the effort.

Van 1 Month Old

We're settling in to life with two kids. Van will be one month old tomorrow weighing in at 8lbs 11 oz. Already we see a lot of differences between Ainslie and Van most significantly in his love for the "blinky" (Ainslie's word) and the fact that he loves to be held and cuddled. He's rarely content in the swing or moses basket which is on one hand very sweet and on the other makes for a busy day. All and all, he's a pretty good little boy.

The Calvary Has Arrived

Yes, reinforcements have arrived! Nana and Big Dad arrived yesterday and will be here a week. Nana with her tireless energy and patience is the perfect playmate for Ainslie. Big Dad, also very much adored by Ainslie, is a huge help with his fix-it, build-it, wash-it, BBQ-it talents. He can also read a very entertaining bedtime story or two or three. We're lucky to have them here with us this week and are grateful for their generosity in coming.
